Within the framework of the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum, the national light industry products stand presented by the Agency for the Development of the Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan became a focal point of attention for international delegations at the large-scale exhibition dedicated to Uzbekistan’s industrial and investment potential.
Accompanied by the delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, the activities of the Agency’s stand were closely reviewed by Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Alexander Turchin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, and Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the visit, the guests were introduced to the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, the modern production capacities established within the light industry sector, the industry's export potential, as well as high value-added products manufactured under the “Made in Uzbekistan” brand.
The heads of the foreign governments highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s achievements in the development of the light industry sector, positively noting the establishment of a fully integrated production chain, the high quality of products, and their competitiveness in international markets.
Particular emphasis was placed on the fact that Uzbekistan occupies one of the leading positions globally in the field of light industry, while also achieving significant progress in enhancing the sector’s export potential and expanding international cooperation.
This recognition is regarded as a practical outcome of the consistent state policy aimed at developing the light industry sector, introducing modern technologies, attracting investments, and strengthening international partnerships.
The Agency for the Development of the Light Industry will continue its systematic efforts to promote Uzbekistan’s industrial potential on the international stage, implement new investment projects, and further strengthen the position of national products in global markets.
