As part of the visit of Nozimjon Kholmurodov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to Poland, an opening ceremony of the Uzbekistan Light Industry Products Showroom and Textile Hub was held in the city of Łódź.
During the event, samples of products manufactured by Uzbekistan’s light industry enterprises were showcased, including textiles, knitwear, ready-made garments, home textiles, and leather and footwear products.
This hub will serve as a practical platform for promoting products made by Uzbek manufacturers in the Polish and broader European markets, introducing local partners to the potential of Uzbekistan’s light industry, and ensuring the continuous exhibition of Uzbek products.
During the opening ceremony, participants were presented with information on the production capabilities of Uzbekistan’s light industry, its export potential, and proposals related to finished products.
In addition, B2B meetings were organized between representatives of Uzbek and Polish companies, during which the parties became acquainted with product samples, manufacturing capacities, and prospects for future cooperation.
The activities of the hub are expected to contribute to the wider promotion of Uzbek products in the Polish market, the establishment of new partnerships, and the expansion of exports of finished products.
