As part of the visit program, negotiations were held with representatives of the Poland–Asia Chamber of Commerce and the “ZPPM Lewiatan” organization. During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland in the light industry sector, the expansion of direct ties with Polish business circles, and the enhancement of opportunities for Uzbek manufacturers to enter the Polish market.
In particular, the parties considered the possibility of utilizing the capabilities of the Poland–Asia Chamber of Commerce to compile a list of export-oriented Uzbek manufacturers for Polish companies and to establish cooperation with buyer companies, distributors, retail chains, international brands, and marketplaces, thereby strengthening business linkages between the two countries.
During the negotiations, special attention was given to establishing cooperation with “ZPPM Lewiatan” in facilitating experience-sharing between Uzbek and Polish companies, adapting local products to meet European market requirements, and organizing sector-specific training programs, seminars, and practical advisory services.
Furthermore, within the framework of the visit, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Agency and “ZPPM Lewiatan”, as well as a separate Memorandum of Cooperation with the Poland–Asia Chamber of Commerce. These documents provide an important legal framework for developing institutional cooperation in the light and textile industries, strengthening business relations, and implementing joint initiatives between the parties.
The parties expressed their readiness to make effective use of the existing opportunities and further expand cooperation between Uzbek manufacturers and Polish companies in specific areas of mutual interest.
