On June 5, 2026, an open dialogue was organized at the Uzbekistan–Korea Training and Practical Textile Technopark by Ruxullo Zikrillayev, Deputy Director of the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with entrepreneurs and manufacturers operating in the textile, silk, and leather-footwear industries.
During the event, participants discussed pressing issues arising in the course of production and export activities and exchanged views on practical solutions to these challenges.
In particular, discussions focused on obtaining permits for the construction of production facilities, improving procedures for coordinating projects with authorized government agencies, lease-related matters, expanding production capacities, and ensuring the efficient use of production areas.
In addition, entrepreneurs presented proposals regarding existing customs clearance and logistics challenges, reducing delivery times to foreign markets, and improving logistics chains.
Following the dialogue, all submitted appeals and proposals were thoroughly reviewed, and responsible officials were instructed to develop practical measures in cooperation with relevant ministries and agencies.
The Agency considers maintaining an open and constructive dialogue with entrepreneurs, promptly addressing existing challenges, and creating favorable conditions for domestic manufacturers as its key priorities.
