Issues related to the export of Uzbek products to the Serbian market were discussed

On May 26, 2026, within the framework of the official visit of the delegation led by Nozimjon Kholmurodov, Director of the Light Industry Development Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to the Republic of Serbia, a meeting was held with Nenad Popović, Minister for International Economic Cooperation of the Government of Serbia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, particularly the supply of Uzbek raw materials, yarn, and finished dyed fabrics to the Serbian market.
The sides also exchanged views on establishing light industry production facilities in Serbia aimed at entering European markets, launching joint ventures, and developing logistics and export chains.
In the course of the negotiations, the Serbian side presented information on government support mechanisms for Uzbek investors, including tax incentives, opportunities within industrial zones, and various investment preferences.
The parties also discussed prospects for expanding practical cooperation in this field, strengthening industrial cooperation, and jointly entering European markets in the future.
