An exhibition of national products was organized within the framework of the Uzbekistan–Hong Kong Economic Forum

On May 6 of this year, an official state visit of the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov is taking place in Hong Kong, People’s Republic of China. Director of the Light Industry Development Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nozimjon Kholmurodov is also participating in the visit.
Within the framework of the visit, the Uzbekistan–Hong Kong Economic Forum is being held to discuss strengthening bilateral trade and economic cooperation, increasing investment volumes, and implementing promising business projects.
As part of the forum, an exhibition of national products was organized. Nearly 150 entrepreneurs and manufacturers from various regions of Uzbekistan participated in the exhibition with their products.
During the event, products from the light industry, textile, leather and footwear sectors, handicrafts, and export-oriented goods were showcased, attracting significant interest from foreign partners and investors.
The exhibition serves as an important platform for expanding the export potential of domestic manufacturers, establishing new international partnerships, and actively promoting Uzbek products in Asian markets.
In addition, a number of B2B meetings, negotiations, and exchanges of views on promising cooperation projects were organized during the event.
The forum is expected to elevate economic partnership between Uzbekistan and Hong Kong to a new level and further strengthen mutually beneficial investment cooperation.
