Open Dialogue: New Opportunities and Key Issues for Entrepreneurs

On May 2, 2026, an open dialogue event was organized for representatives of the textile industry by the Technical Regulation Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Agency for the Development of Light Industry.
More than 100 business entities operating in the sewing, knitwear, and textile sectors participated in the event, both in offline and online formats.
During the open dialogue, detailed information was provided on the current status of ongoing reforms in the sector, available opportunities, and measures aimed at supporting entrepreneurs.
In particular, explanations were given regarding the new opportunities and benefits created for entrepreneurs under Presidential Decree No. PF–25, as well as financial incentives allocated in accordance with Resolution No. 729 and the procedures for accessing them.
Within the framework of the event, participants raised a number of pressing issues in the sector, including the processes of obtaining compensations, technical regulation requirements, logistics opportunities, and the implementation of digitalization in production activities. Relevant responses were provided by representatives of responsible organizations.
At the conclusion of the open dialogue, agreements were reached to establish continuous communication with entrepreneurs, systematically address existing issues, and enhance the effectiveness of ongoing reforms in the sector.
