Waste management and circular economy development agency

As part of the cleanliness and beautification month in Fergana region, intensified activities were carried out jointly by the Department for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development, the regional administration, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Department of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, and several other relevant organizations.

In particular, large-scale improvement works were carried out in the Toshloq district. In the “Sofilar” neighborhood (mahalla), community representatives, sector employees, and activists organized public clean-up events (hashars).

Streets, canals, ditches, and areas around houses were cleaned of waste and properly disposed of. Unauthorized dumping sites were eliminated, and inspection and monitoring activities were conducted. The areas around waste disposal sites were put in order.
