Today, October 14, a video selector meeting was held under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, dedicated to the issues of further improving the mahalla system and organizing effective work on the ground. At the meeting, the large-scale reforms carried out in recent years to transform the mahalla institute into a more people-friendly and effective system, as well as future plans in this area, were discussed.
In particular, special attention was paid to the issues of territorial cleanliness. It was noted that the cleanliness and well-being of the mahalla reflects the attitude of its residents, the "mahalla seven," and is an indicator of the hokim's activity. At the same time, it was noted that in a number of mahallas, streets, around buildings, ditches, and parks, cleanliness requirements are not being observed.
