A Chinese company expressed interest in developing waste recycling infrastructure

A meeting was held at the Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency under the Ministry of Ecology with representatives of the Chinese company Shanghai SUS. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Agency, Sharifbek Hasanov, and the Chairman of the Board and General Director of the company, Dr. Long Zhisheng, along with other responsible officials.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the construction of waste incineration plants, as well as the establishment of waste transfer stations in the Kashkadarya region. The company expressed strong interest in implementing these projects and proposed to invest in them.
It should be noted that such initiatives are of great importance for ensuring effective waste management in the Republic, maintaining environmental sustainability, and advancing the principles of a circular economy.
