In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 15 of this year No. PP-184 "On Approving the Concept for Raising the Environmental Culture of the Population for the Period up to 2030," another eco-initiative was implemented in the "Temir yo'l" mahalla of the city of Nukus.
The eco-campaign was held under the motto "We will turn the mahalla into a waste-free zone." During the event, special equipment was involved by the city's service enterprises. Waste was collected and removed from garbage collection sites and public places in the mahalla.
At the same time, awareness campaigns are being conducted among the population to create a waste-free zone.
