“Bostanlyk Experience”: Environmental Education Lesson Organized for School Students

As part of the “Bostanlyk Experience” action plan, developed at the initiative of the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development, in cooperation with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, has launched environmental education lessons in schools across Bostanlyk District.
During the lesson, students gained essential knowledge on the following topics:

Proper waste disposal and responsible waste management;

The importance of waste separation, sorting, and recycling;

Rational and sustainable use of natural resources;

Environmental protection and the promotion of ecological awareness and culture.
Special attention was paid to encouraging students to take personal responsibility for waste separation and recycling, contribute to creating a clean and healthy environment, and develop a responsible and caring attitude toward nature.
Similar environmental education and awareness-raising activities will continue on a regular basis.
