A seminar on "Clean City" was held in Jizzakh

The Jizzakh Regional Department of the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development, together with the National Association of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of Uzbekistan, organized the "Clean City" training seminar at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute as part of the "Sustainable Solid Waste Management" project.
It was attended by students and professors of the institute. During the seminar, issues of creating clean and green cities, effective waste management, sorting and recycling, as well as disposal were discussed.
The topics were explained to the participants through interactive methods, and information was provided about the importance of waste reduction and proper waste management in environmental protection.
Recommendations were also made to increase the environmental culture of youth and the population, foster a responsible attitude toward the environment, and strengthen environmental advocacy efforts.
For information, these training seminars will continue throughout the republic until the end of this year.
