The meeting discussed the phased improvement of the waste sorting system in cities, the installation of containers for separate waste collection in mahallas, and the implementation of a monitoring system for "smart waste containers" (smart bins).
Proposals were also considered for monitoring waste collection, transportation, sorting, processing, and landfill placement processes through a unified digital platform, tracking the movement of specialized equipment, and optimizing recycling logistics based on GIS technologies.
The new system will allow for real-time monitoring of the waste movement chain, monitoring the condition of existing containers and waste collection points, generating information on waste volumes and removal processes, and making management decisions based on accurate data.
Following the meeting, the working mechanisms of the digital system, measures for its phased implementation, necessary technical and software solutions, integration with existing information systems, and further tasks for the implementation of the project were agreed upon.
