Videos of a fire at a waste landfill in the Iskovut mahalla of the Pap district of the Namangan region were published on social networks.
The Waste Management Agency reports the following regarding the situation:
Currently, this situation is under control by the officials of the Agency and the Waste Landfill Management Directorate under it, and an investigation is underway. The fire occurred due to the natural heating of glass and plastic waste due to the heat, and it has now been completely extinguished.
