To the attention of entrepreneurs: a tender has been announced for sorting services at 77 landfills

The Waste Landfill Management Directorate under the Waste Management Agency announces that tenders for the organization of waste sorting services at 77 municipal solid waste landfills have been published on the electronic public procurement platform.
The lots are distributed by region as follows:
Bukhara Region — 8;
Jizzakh Region — 11;
Kashkadarya Region — 4;
Republic of Karakalpakstan — 2;
Navoi Region — 7;
Namangan Region — 6;
Samarkand Region — 2;
Surkhandarya Region — 6;
Syrdarya Region — 2;
Fergana Region — 6;
Khorezm Region — 9;
Andijan Region — 8;
Tashkent Region — 6.
These tenders are intended to establish waste sorting services, ensure the efficient use of secondary raw materials, and increase the volume of waste directed for recycling.
For information: Presidential Decrees No. UP-5 dated January 4, 2024, and No. UP-56 dated March 24, 2025, set out tasks aimed at attracting foreign and domestic investors to waste sorting and recycling processes, as well as selecting, in accordance with the established procedure, investors engaged in waste sorting activities.
In accordance with these documents, relevant measures for organizing waste sorting activities at landfills have been approved for the territorial departments by an appropriate order of the State Institution “Waste Landfill Management Directorate” under the Agency. These measures are currently being implemented at an accelerated pace.
It should be noted that the implementation of these measures and the introduction of waste sorting systems at landfills will contribute to improving the efficiency of waste management in the country, ensuring the rational use of natural resources, and reducing the negative impact on the environment.
