A working group consisting of employees from the Regional Department of Waste Management and Circular Economy Development and the Main Department of Ecology and Climate Change is studying the use of waste services by legal entities in the regions.
During the studies, the presence of a contract with an organization providing services for the removal of household waste at enterprises and organizations, the fulfillment of obligations for waste management and existing problems are considered.
Organizations that do not have a contract are provided with practical assistance in concluding contracts with relevant service organizations.
Responsible officials are being provided with explanations on the procedure for waste collection and removal, the use of services on a contractual basis, and proper waste management.
According to the current procedure, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs use services for the collection and removal of solid household waste on the basis of a contract with the relevant organization. This requirement serves to ensure the timely removal of waste and improve the sanitary condition of the territories.
The main goal of these works is not to impose fines or identify shortcomings. The main focus is on establishing order in the waste management system, increasing the responsibility of enterprises and organizations for waste, and maintaining cleanliness in the territories.
The study and explanatory work will continue in other regions of the Navoi region.
