At all landfills under the jurisdiction of the Samarkand regional territorial department of the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development, solid household waste is being moved and compacted using special equipment, and reclamation work is being carried out according to the established plan. In order to reduce the risk of fire, measures are being taken to cover the waste with a layer of soil and establish safe zones at the landfills.

Cleaning work is also being carried out at landfills and their surrounding areas, trees are being watered, and the sanitary condition is constantly improving. All processes are organized under the constant supervision of responsible specialists and the working group.

As a result of the measures taken, the sanitary and technical condition of landfills is being improved, fire risks are being prevented, and necessary measures are being taken to reduce the negative impact on the environment and ensure safe waste management.
