Within the framework of the "Urgent 40 Days" control measures announced in connection with the hot weather in the Kashkadarya region, practical work is being carried out to improve the sanitary condition at solid waste landfills, ensure environmental safety, and prevent fire hazards.
In particular, at municipal solid waste landfills in the regions, waste is leveled, compacted, and covered with soil in the prescribed manner using specialized machinery.
Necessary preventive and control measures are also being carried out to keep the landfill territory clean, improve sanitary conditions, ensure fire safety, and strictly comply with environmental requirements.
At the same time, work continues on caring for tree and shrub seedlings planted at landfills as part of the "Yashil Makon" nationwide project.
The seedlings are watered according to the established plan, and special attention is paid to expanding green areas at the landfills and further improving the ecological environment.
