The event will be held from July 28 to September 6 and is aimed at improving the sanitary condition of settlements, landscaping territories, timely waste removal, and increasing the environmental culture of the population.
To coordinate the work, special headquarters have been established within the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development, its regional departments, and subordinate organizations. Responsible officers have been assigned to the regions, and round-the-clock duty and daily monitoring have been established.
The main attention is paid to improvement, sanitary cleanliness, the prompt removal of household and construction waste, as well as explanatory work among the population.
To date, 3,604 out of 8,150 mahallas in the republic have been fully covered by the campaign.
Every day, an average of 3–4 thousand units of special equipment and 8–10 thousand personnel are involved. As a result, 16–20 thousand tons of solid household waste and 1.5–2 thousand tons of construction waste are removed daily.

Monitoring of compliance with environmental legislation is also ongoing. 97 violations related to waste were identified, and administrative fines totaling 165.4 million soums were imposed on them.
On the eve of Independence Day, measures to ensure cleanliness in markets, shopping complexes, parks, and recreation areas have been strengthened. Round-the-clock duty of sanitary cleaning and landscaping services has been organized.
In cooperation with schools and preschool educational institutions, waste generated as a result of repair work is being removed. This serves to create clean and comfortable conditions on the eve of the start of the new academic year.
Branches and wood residues formed during the sanitary felling of trees and shrubs are used for composting and the production of organic fertilizers.
At the same time, additional measures are being taken to improve landfills and prevent fires.
As part of the work with the population, 327 appeals from citizens were reviewed. Of these, 275 were resolved on the spot, and 52 remain in the process of study.
The activities of working groups in all regions are constantly monitored by the Republican Headquarters. As a result of the measures taken, the sanitary condition of the territories remained stable, and serious disruptions in the waste removal system were avoided.
At the same time, during the "Urgent 40 Days" cleanup activities, the Waste Landfill Management Directorate under the Agency placed 125,526 tons of waste at 137 landfills with 39,130 trips of special equipment in the first 10 days.
