Waste management and circular economy development agency

The event was held at the initiative of the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Council of the Party Organization of the Republic of Karakalpakstan of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan.

Agency employees, members of the Ecological Party, the agency's "Green Shield" volunteer group, and employees of "Toza Makon Service" LLC, which serves the city of Nukus, took an active part in the campaign.

During the plogging, participants cleaned the territory of the recreation area along the Dustlik canal from various household waste. Work has also been carried out to improve and organize the territory.

During the event, participants were urged not only to ensure the cleanliness of the area but also to dispose of waste in designated areas, treat the environment with care, and increase environmental responsibility.

Particular attention was paid to supporting public environmental initiatives through the "Green Hands" campaign, involving youth and volunteers in environmental protection, and ensuring cleanliness in urban areas.

At the end of the event, the participants who took an active part in the campaign were awarded diplomas.

The regular organization of such environmental campaigns serves not only to maintain the cleanliness of territories but also to raise the environmental culture of the population and foster a responsible attitude toward nature.
