The events were memorable not only for the exchange of professional knowledge and experience among media representatives, journalists, bloggers, and press secretaries, but also for practical initiatives aimed at promoting environmental culture.
As part of the Media Week, the Content Center, together with the Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency, organized a “plogging” environmental campaign — an activity that combines walking or jogging with collecting litter. Participants contributed to environmental cleanliness and took an active part in cleaning the surrounding areas. This once again demonstrated that media representatives are not indifferent to issues that matter for the present and future of society, and that environmental responsibility is an integral part of each person’s daily life. The campaign also highlighted the importance of leading by personal example in this regard.
In addition, as part of the program, Dilnoza Komilova, Head of the Agency’s Press Service, conducted a training session for Media Week participants on the role of online journalism in press service activities and the importance of effective solutions in challenging situations. Through real-life examples, she explained ways to strengthen professional approaches, develop modern skills, and make effective use of artificial intelligence.
Participants exchanged views on pressing issues and discussed solutions to situations commonly encountered in their professional work. The meetings and discussions, held amid the unique natural landscape of Jizzakh, were particularly valuable in enhancing the qualifications of professionals in the field.
The Media Week was held in the spirit of nurturing a new generation of media professionals, supporting young people, and promoting the shared values of environmental responsibility and professional growth. It provided participants not only with valuable experience, but also with an opportunity to become part of meaningful and constructive initiatives.
