Waste management and circular economy development agency

The Department for the Use and Monitoring of Surveillance Cameras under the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development has installed online surveillance cameras in many regions of the republic. These cameras are being used to detect a number of violations related to waste disposal in unauthorized locations.

In particular, in the first 3 months of 2026, a total of 2,107 waste-related violations were identified across the republic. Administrative liability was applied and fines were collected for 322 of these violations. Measures are being taken in accordance with the procedure established by law regarding the remaining 1,785 violations.

For reference: nearly 700 online surveillance cameras have been installed in almost all regions of the republic. They make it possible to detect and take action not only against waste disposal violations, but also other types of environmental offenses.
