Waste management and circular economy development agency

On February 12 of this year (Thursday) at 11:00 a.m., a field reception will take place at the “Shodlik” Cultural Center of the “Isvakhon” Mahalla Citizens’ Assembly in Turakurgan district, Namangan region, with the participation of Sharifbek Khasanov, Director of the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development under the Committee on Ecology.

The event will also be attended by representatives of the Agency, the regional khokimiyat (local administration), regional departments of ecology and waste management, mahalla representatives, as well as responsible sanitary cleaning enterprises.

During the reception, appeals and proposals from individuals and legal entities of the region will be reviewed concerning waste management, the quality of sanitation services, the condition of landfills, and payment discipline.

For reference: such events are conducted in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 445 “On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On Appeals of Individuals and Legal Entities’” and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 341 “On Approval of the Model Regulation on the Procedure for Handling Appeals of Individuals and Legal Entities in State Bodies, State Institutions, and Organizations with State Participation.”
