The Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development, in particular its Department for the Use and Monitoring of Surveillance Cameras, has installed online video surveillance cameras in many regions of the Republic. These cameras are used to detect various violations related to illegal waste dumping in unauthorized locations.

Specifically, during 2025, a total of 10,199 offenses were identified nationwide.
Out of these, administrative liability was applied and fines were imposed in 2,421 cases.
Measures are currently being taken for the remaining 7,778 offenses in accordance with established legislation.

Across almost all regions of the Republic, a total of 350 online surveillance cameras have been installed, enabling authorities to identify not only illegal waste dumping, but also other types of environmental violations, and to take appropriate enforcement measures.
