For your information, in accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 25, 2026, “On Measures to Implement the Nationwide ‘Clean Air’ Project Aimed at Improving Ambient Air Quality,” the “Car-Free Day” and “Car-Free Week” campaigns are held on the 10th and 25th of every month.
This initiative aims to reduce harmful emissions from motor vehicles, promote a more environmentally sustainable atmosphere, and encourage wider use of public transportation and environmentally friendly modes of transport.
As part of the “Car-Free Day” and “Car-Free Week” campaigns, employees of the Migration Agency and its regional branches refrained from using both official and private vehicles, choosing public transport, bicycles, and other eco-friendly means of transportation instead.
⚠️ Attention! During the “Car-Free Day” and “Car-Free Week” campaigns, the use of motor vehicles by civil servants may result in liability under the applicable regulations.
🤝 The Migration Agency calls on all government and non-government organizations, as well as all citizens, to actively participate in these campaigns and make greater use of green transportation, electric vehicles, and public transport that produce no harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
