"Are heating plants polluting the air?" - A practical answer has been given to this question, which concerns many. Major environmental changes have been implemented at the Tashkent Thermal Power Plant in Yakkasaray:
🚫 There is no fuel oil: The use of fuel oil at the enterprise has been completely stopped. Now only modern gas-powered equipment operates.
📉 Damage has decreased: Due to new technologies, pollutants released into the atmosphere have decreased by 200 tons annually.
🔎 Online monitoring: Four automatic stations have been installed on the enterprise's premises. Smoke and air quality indicators are transmitted to the Ministry of Ecology in real time.
🌳 Green belt: Around the enterprise, 16,490 trees were planted on an area of 15.5 hectares, creating a unique "green shield."
These changes are an important step towards ensuring the purity of the capital's air.
