These seminars and trainings are one of the practical results of the agreements reached as a result of the third meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council between Uzbekistan and Turkey, held in Ankara in June 2024. One of the priority areas identified by the heads of state is the expansion of economic cooperation and the development of the exchange of experience in industrial sectors.
This initiative, along with strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries, will serve to improve the qualifications of domestic manufacturers and expand their opportunities to enter the international market.
On March 1 of this year, as a final part of the seminars, an award ceremony was held for the participants. TIKA awarded special certificates to specialists who actively participated in the trainings.
TIKA also provided a 3D printer to the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan on a grant basis as gratuitous assistance. In turn, the Ministry of Economy and Finance transferred this advanced technological equipment to the Tashkent State Technical University in order to introduce further modernization of jewelry design and production processes into education. Thanks to 3D technologies, it will be possible to test new designs, improve the quality of finished products, and optimize production processes.
During the round tables and practical training sessions with Turkish experts, with the participation of specialists from domestic enterprises specializing in the production of jewelry and glass products, special attention was paid to the following topics:
Modern technologies for the production of jewelry - innovative methods of design creation, material processing and quality control;
New technologies in the production of glass products - environmentally friendly and energy-efficient production methods;
Strategies for entering the international market - ways to increase export potential, create a brand, and bring products in line with international standards.
Participants familiarized themselves with Turkiye's production experience based on modern technologies and best practices. Representatives of the local industry also shared their experience and exchanged views on the specifics of the glass and jewelry industry.
In addition, the activities of GLASS-EXPO LLC, a glass sheet processing and processing enterprise, CAMPALIA LLC, one of the largest manufacturers of glass containers for the food and pharmaceutical industries in Central Asia, and Gold Moon Tashkent LLC, operating under the Fonon brand in the jewelry industry, were closely examined.
Following the visit, the parties agreed to continue cooperation. In particular, it is planned to involve local specialists and manufacturers in advanced training courses in Turkiye and organize additional training on advanced technologies.
