Views were exchanged with representatives of the French Development Agency on developing transport infrastructure

The meeting was attended by Antoine Chevalier, Deputy Head of the French Development Agency's representative office in Tashkent; Adamas Ilkevičius, an international strategic advisor and expert on economic development; Oybek Karimov, Head of the Transformation Office at "Uzbekistan Railways" JSC; and other responsible representatives.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed the development of transport infrastructure in our country and the ongoing economic processes.
In particular:
· Further development of the transport sector - implementing modern projects in the railway transport field, forming new infrastructure projects, and introducing advanced and successful global practices;
· Public-private partnership projects - projects implemented in the transport sector, including road construction, healthcare, and education, and their outcomes;
· Green transformation processes - increasing energy efficiency, wider use of economical and renewable energy sources, establishing a heat supply system based on modern and green technologies, including the use of heat pumps;
· Sustainable development of regions - improving transport infrastructure in the regions, master plans being developed for the socio-economic development of regions, and the processes of their implementation was emphasized.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement to develop and strengthen mutual cooperation ties, as well as to conduct systematic and effective activities to achieve the designated goals.
