Seminar on key areas of the green economy

The Ministry of Economy and Finance, together with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, organized a seminar on the topic "Introduction and promotion of climate-adapted mechanisms for financing agriculture", as well as the collection and use of data on the "green" economy.
The event was attended by qualified responsible specialists of ministries and departments, as well as responsible employees of local banks of the republic for the "green" economy and "green" financing.

The purpose of the seminar is to train employees of ministries and departments and local banks to effectively use information about the "green" economy and "green" financing, as well as climate–adapted agricultural financing mechanisms.
For information: "green" financing has been developing all over the world for more than 15 years and serves to achieve the Goals of Sustainable Development, in particular, to ensure affordable and clean energy, the sustainability of cities and human settlements, the fight against climate change, and the rational use of natural resources.
During the seminar, presentations were made by responsible specialists of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the United Nations Organization for Agriculture and Food Security, the central Bank, and the Ministry of Agriculture.
At the end of the seminar, a question-and-answer session was held and round tables on "green" financing were organized.
