Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan

This competition involved nearly 40 ministries and organizations. Accordingly, 34 teams were divided into 8 groups and began their group matches on November 3.

Based on the draw results, the Ministry of Economy and Finance was placed in Group "I" along with the Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Paralympic Committee, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The team of our ministry started the competition on November 3 against the Social Protection Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and won by a big score. In the second and third games in the group, they won over the teams of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Paralympic Committee.

As a result, the Ministry's team accumulated 7 points in the group stage and secured second place based on goal difference, advancing to the play-off stage of the competition.

The first play-off match against the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation took place on November 6, where our team won 4:1. On the 5th day of the competition (November 7), our team faced the Ministry of Energy in the quarter-finals. Our team won this match 5:2 and advanced to the semi-finals.

An exciting semi-final match against the Football Association of Uzbekistan awaited our team. Unfortunately, the semi-final held on November 8 ended in a 0:2 defeat for our team.

On November 9, our team competed for 3rd place against the Statistics Committee under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the football stadium of the "JAR" sports and health center, winning 1:0 and securing third place.
