The meeting was attended by a specialist in financial management at the World Bank Nurgul Tatibekova, head of the Department for studying risks in local budget expenditures at the Ministry of Economy and Finance Farrukh Aminov, head of the Division for financial support for the activities of state authorities and the executive branch of the republic Faziljon Kalandarov and other responsible representatives.

During the dialogue, the parties discussed issues of increasing the efficiency of public finances, reflecting the necessary reforms in the Strategy for Improving the Public Finance Management System of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2025-2030, the importance and specifics of forming the mahalla budget, in particular, its role in the development of regional infrastructure, entrepreneurship and the creation of new jobs.

During the conversation, the parties also exchanged views on further improving the quality of tax administration, managing the district (city) budget and increasing its independence, as well as, the importance of master plans, which are being developed to develop and support the service sector, tourism, and production in the regions.

Following the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on the development and strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as on systematic and effective activities to achieve the set goals.
