The meeting was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kalyon Holding Lutfi Elvan, General Director of Cengiz Holding Akhmet Cengiz, as well as Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Mahkamov, Minister of Mining and Geology Bobir Islamov and other responsible representatives.
During the dialogue, the parties exchanged views on investment opportunities between our countries, cooperation with Turkish companies, the Uzbek-Turkish business forum in Ankara and its results.
For reference: the Uzbek-Turkish business forum, held on June 5 of this year in Ankara, brought together 500 participants consisting of representatives of the business circles of the two countries, investors, international experts and experts. Within the framework of the forum, a number of agreements were reached aimed at further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the Uzbek-Turkish economic and business circles.
During the conversation, issues of forming infrastructure projects were discussed, in particular, the development of public-private partnership projects in the field of mining and geology, transport, highway construction, exchange of experience in these areas, as well as cooperation with international financial institutions.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to form and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
