The meeting was also attended by World Bank Senior Specialist Mohamed Nada, ARUP’s Master Planning and Urban Design Group Leader in London Arthur Smart, as well as the company's representatives in Spain and Turkey, Jaime Traspaderne and Emre Şimşek.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of mutually beneficial cooperation, specifically regarding experiences in developing master plans as well as “green” and energy-efficient projects, and issues related to applying these practices within the context of Uzbekistan.

Furthermore, the master plan concept currently being developed by ARUP aimed at reorganizing the main road passing through the center of Chelak town in the Payariq district of the Samarkand region, transforming it into a vibrant street operating 24/7, and thereby creating favorable conditions for the population, was highly appreciated during the meeting.
