Cooperation areas were discussed with the Deputy Minister of the Federal Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Austria

The Austrian side was represented by officials from the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), the Austrian Technology Corporation (ATC), BPG Alternative Minerals Reserves AG, ILF Consulting Engineers, and the Embassy of Austria in Uzbekistan.
From the Uzbek side, the meeting was attended by the Director of the Project Office “Green Economy Projects Center” TemurMalik Narzikulov, First Deputy Director of the National Agency for Energy Efficiency under the Cabinet of Ministers Obid Pardayev, as well as other responsible officials.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to strengthening bilateral economic cooperation. Special attention was given to the following areas:
• modernization of the financial sector;
• development of energy-efficient and “green” technologies;
• digitalization of economic processes;
• introduction of innovative approaches in infrastructure projects.
The parties also reviewed mechanisms for the practical implementation of joint initiatives and the expansion of mutually beneficial partnerships.
Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federal Ministry of Finance of Austria. The document marks a new stage of cooperation aimed at strengthening economic ties, exchanging best practices, and introducing innovative technologies.
In accordance with the Memorandum, a joint working group will be established to coordinate cooperation, determine priority areas (projects on energy saving and energy efficiency, sustainable urban development, development of e-government and digitalization of public services, reform of the public procurement system, digitalization of small and medium-sized businesses, etc.), and promote joint projects.
