The State Assets Management Agency held an online meeting with representatives of the Federal Institute for Real Estate of Germany (BImA) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), focusing on the management and efficient utilization of state-owned real estate.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on modern approaches to managing state-owned real estate, the market-based disposal of state assets, improving the efficiency of their utilization, introducing digital solutions into the sector, and exploring promising areas for future cooperation.
The parties agreed to establish systematic cooperation by organizing a series of online training seminars for the Agency’s specialists with the participation of BImA experts; facilitating knowledge exchange during the visit of the German delegation to Uzbekistan, including discussions on prospective joint projects; and arranging an official visit by the Agency’s delegation to Germany to gain practical insights into BImA’s activities and the mechanisms for managing, valuing, disposing of, and efficiently utilizing state-owned real estate.

This cooperation is planned to be implemented with financial support from a GIZ grant. It is expected to strengthen institutional capacity in state asset management, promote the adoption of international best practices, and enhance the professional competencies of specialists.
