Roundtable discussions dedicated to the effective implementation of the priority tasks set for 2026 under the Uzbekistan – 2030 Strategy were held at the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by the Agency’s leadership, representatives of system organizations, industry experts, and partner organizations. During the discussions, participants addressed issues related to the further development of the light industry sector, increasing production volumes, expanding export potential, attracting investments, and introducing modern technologies.
Special attention was also given to the essence and significance of the reforms envisaged in the Uzbekistan – 2030 Strategy, mechanisms for their effective implementation in the regions, and ensuring performance indicators. A clear action plan was developed for each area, and responsible executors were designated.
At the end of the event, the proposals and initiatives put forward by the participants were summarized, and a further action plan for implementing the priority tasks for 2026 was defined.
The Agency will continue its systematic efforts to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of the goals and objectives set out in the Uzbekistan – 2030 Strategy.
