Issues of technical regulation and quality assurance were discussed with manufacturing enterprises

Akmal Jumanazarov, Director of the Agency for Technical Regulation, held a meeting with manufacturing enterprises operating in the Zangiata district of the Tashkent region.
Specifically, during a dialogue with representatives of JV LLC "Techno Cable Group," LLC "Global Petrochemical Group," and LLC "Technologies of Real Time," issues regarding the production processes of cable products, chemical products, and automotive spare parts and components, as well as ensuring product quality and safety, were discussed.
At the meeting, issues of cooperation on the effective use of the potential of existing laboratories of enterprises, the development and accreditation of laboratories, testing of products in accordance with the requirements of international standards and the widespread introduction of international standards into production processes were considered.
Recommendations were also given to improve the quality of manufactured products, ensure their competitiveness, establish production based on international requirements, and improve product reliability and quality indicators in domestic and foreign markets.
During the dialogue, an exchange of views took place on the effective organization of market control over cable products, chemical products, and automotive spare parts and components sold on the domestic market, preventing the release of non-compliant products into circulation, and ensuring product quality and consumer safety.
Additionally, detailed information was provided on the opportunities and benefits created for entrepreneurs based on Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-25 dated February 16, 2026, the reforms being implemented in the field of technical regulation, and the services provided in the fields of standardization and metrology. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop cooperation in the areas of joint use of laboratory potential, introduction of international standards, improvement of market control, ensuring product quality, and improving the qualifications of the company's employees.
