Leaders and youth: meeting with future engineers

On the occasion of Youth Day, a meeting titled "Leader and Youth" was organized at the Belarusian-Uzbek Joint Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications in Tashkent.
Akmal Jumanazarov, Director of the Agency for Technical Regulation, participated in the event.
The event was opened by the Executive Director of the institute, Sanjar Mirzaliyev, who spoke about the institute's activities, the educational process, and the participation of young people in science and engineering, and congratulated the students on Youth Day.
Within the framework of the event, talented students who actively participated in the "New Generation Automobile" category of the "Future Engineers" festival, organized in connection with "Engineering Month," were awarded.
Also, the Director of the Agency Akmal Jumanazarov made a presentation on the reforms being implemented in the field of technical regulation, the important tasks facing young specialists and promising opportunities in the field.
At the meeting, Abdullajon Bafoev, a student at the Faculty of Engineering Systems, also presented his innovative projects and initiatives.
During the dialogue, the Director of the Agency provided information on the work being carried out to digitalize the field of technical regulation and the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into processes. A number of proposals were also made by the students. In particular, Khushnud Shavkatov, a second-year student majoring in "Metrology," put forward an initiative to gradually transform laboratories within the National Institute of Metrology system into visual laboratories. Abdullajon Bafoev proposed presenting the software projects he is developing to the Agency's specialists.
At the conclusion of the event, students addressed their questions and engaged in an open dialogue with industry leaders. Students who took an active part in the survey were presented with special commemorative gifts from the Director of the Agency.
