An open dialogue with students was held as part of Youth Day

Within the framework of implementing the tasks outlined in the meeting of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with youth and the practice of holding "Youth Day" every Thursday in state bodies and organizations, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation and students of the Almalyk branch of the National Research Technological University "MISIS" in the Tashkent region.
The event was attended by the Director of the Agency Akmal Jumanazarov, Advisor to the Director Naibakhon Mamadalieva, Director of the university branch Farkhodbek Umarov, and students.
At the beginning of the meeting, branch director Farkhodbek Umarov provided detailed information about the university's activities, the educational process, and the opportunities created for students.
During the open dialogue, the Director of the Agency spoke about the conditions created for young people studying in the fields of standardization, metrology, and certification, as well as those conducting scientific research. In particular, the opportunity for talented students to participate in the State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Beruni and Ibn Sino State Scholarships, and other prestigious competitions was explained.
Information was also provided on the work carried out by the Agency in cooperation with higher educational institutions to train qualified personnel, enhance students' practical knowledge and skills, and widely involve them in research and production processes.
At the meeting, special attention was paid to the participation of young people in international educational programs and grants, including the effective use of the opportunities of the "El-Yurt Umidi" Foundation.
During the dialogue, an exchange of views also took place regarding the reforms being implemented in our country in the field of technical regulation and the development of quality infrastructure, as well as Uzbekistan's achievements in the Global Quality Infrastructure Index (GQII).
— At the end of the event, students received detailed answers to their questions. The head of the agency emphasized that today profound knowledge, a broad worldview, and profound mastery of foreign languages are of great importance for young people, and wished them success in their future activities.
