Inspection for control in the field of technical regulation of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation

The training seminar "Market Control: European Experience," organized in Tashkent in cooperation with the TAIEX program of the European Union, continues in the spirit of active discussions and practical dialogues. Within the framework of the seminar, specialists from state bodies, business entities, and industry representatives are exchanging views on topical issues of market control, problems encountered in practice, and mechanisms for their elimination. Participants are familiarized with the principles of organizing market control in the European Union, current legislative requirements, control mechanisms, and best practices for ensuring product safety. During the event, an open dialogue was established between government and business representatives, and international experts provided detailed answers to many questions of interest to the participants. This serves to further enrich knowledge and experience in improving the market control system, protecting consumer interests, and ensuring the circulation of safe products. Information was also provided on important initiatives aimed at protecting the health of citizens and consumer rights in our country. In particular, it was noted that a draft law "On Market Control" has been developed, aimed at ensuring the safety of non-food products and regulating relations in this area. International experts from the European Union, including Morin Logge, Katajina Bednarz, Jan Deconink, and Tomasz Yuzwiak, were involved to organize the training seminar effectively and meaningfully. This seminar serves as one of the important steps toward studying international experience in market control, strengthening institutional capacity, and forming a market for safe products.
