Mahalla
Self-government of citizens is the independent activity of citizens to resolve issues of local importance based on their interests, historical development features, as well as national and spiritual values, local customs and traditions guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Citizens exercise their constitutional right to self-government on their territory through citizens' gatherings (meetings of representatives) in accordance with the guarantees of citizens' electoral rights.
