In order to establish a dialogue between local government bodies and the public in the city of Kokand, organize effective public control over the services provided to the population by government bodies, and fulfill the tasks set forth in the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-3837 dated July 4, 2018 “On the establishment of public councils under state bodies” and the Decree No. PF-6181 dated March 3, 2020 “On the Concept of Civil Society Development in 2021-2025”, and in accordance with Articles 6 and 25 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Local Government”, on December 16, 2021, the Resolution of the Kokand city mayor “On the organization of the activities of the Public Council under the Kokand city khokimiyat” No. 216-11-166-Q/21 was adopted.

By this resolution,

1.) The list of members of the "Public Council" under the Kokand city administration (55% of the composition is made up of representatives of non-governmental non-profit organizations)

2.) The REGULATIONS on the Public Council under the Kokand city administration

3.) The CODE OF CONDUCT of the members of the Public Council under the Kokand city administration are approved

4.) Plan for 2025 of the Community Council under Kokan city administration

5.) Coverage of the events held by the Public Council under the Kokan city administration in the media and other information sources
