The Migration Agency, in cooperation with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, has announced a new selection for special training courses aimed at preparing qualified specialists in the shipbuilding industry.
Within the project, in 2025, out of 408 graduates, 356 have already started working at Hyundai plants.
📍 Training location: KOICA Regional Vocational Training Center, Fergana city (training and accommodation are free of charge)
❓ Who can participate in the project:
▪️ Job seekers registered in the SPAS electronic database;
▪️ Applicants who scored 80 or higher in the EPS-TOPIK shipbuilding and manufacturing exams, or those with lower scores who hold a TOPIK or King Sejong certificate;
▪️ Candidates aged 20–35 whose registration is valid for at least 6 months after May 29, 2026 (until November 2026).
💷 Minimum monthly salary: 2,156,000 KRW = currently USD 1,484 (subject to increase depending on workload)
📌 Documents are accepted from January 12 to January 23 at the regional branches of the Migration Agency.
🗓 Key dates:
✅ Document submission: January 12–23
✅ Announcement of document screening results: January 28, 2026
✅ Interview and test: February 9–13
✅ Announcement of admitted trainees: February 23, 2026
✅ Training period: March 9 – May 29 (approximately 3 months)
✅ Final assessment: May 29, 2026
✅ Final results announcement: June 5, 2026
🚫 Note: Applicants who previously committed illegal activities in Korea, worked illegally, or were denied a visa due to forged documents are not allowed to submit documents.
❗️ (In accordance with the requirements of Hyundai, a candidate who has successfully passed all stages but receives a visa refusal during the visa application process due to the reasons mentioned above will be subject to a penalty in accordance with established procedures.)
