Meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam

On 4 November, on the sidelines of the 43rd Session of the UNESCO General Conference held in Samarkand, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Ngo Le Van.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the development of cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, and tourism spheres, and exchanged views on current regional issues.
The Vietnamese diplomat noted the high-level organization of the current session of the UNESCO General Conference and emphasized Uzbekistan’s growing international standing and proactive role.
