On September 24, 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov held talks with the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Asad Majid Khan.
The sides exchanged views on further improving the Organization's activities and prospects for cooperation within the ECO framework.
Particular attention was paid to the consistent promotion of the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan put forward at ECO summits, including the adoption of the "Strategic Goals for Economic Cooperation - 2035," the signing of the Trade Facilitation Agreement, and the establishment of the ECO Digital Transport and Customs Authority.
