On June 26, 2025, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan, Ismatulla Irgashev, held a meeting with Professor Hassan Abbas of Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies, who is visiting Uzbekistan within the framework of an international seminar on countering extremism and terrorism in Central and South Asia.
