Visit of the “Sharite” University Clinic delegation

On June 10, 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Olimjon Abdullayev received a delegation headed by the Deputy Director of the University Clinic "Sharite" in Berlin, Germany, Dr. Joachim Seybold.
At the beginning of the meeting, issues of strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in the field of medicine were discussed, in particular, the possibilities of employment of Uzbek medical workers, especially qualified nurses, in Germany, and the development of educational and scientific exchange directions.
The "Sharite" University Clinic was founded in 1710 and is one of the most prestigious medical institutions in Germany and Europe. It covers 4 campuses, more than 100 clinical and scientific departments. There are 18,700 employees, including 5,000 doctors and researchers. 800,000 patients are served annually. According to the Newsweek ranking, it is among the top 10 clinics in Europe and according to Focus Gesundheit, it ranks 1st in Germany. At the same time, it cooperates with more than 60 countries and has extensive experience in attracting foreign medical specialists.
