On February 3, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Uzbekistan Konstantin Obolensky.
An exchange of views took place on the current situation in Afghanistan, the efforts of the international community to prevent a humanitarian crisis in the country, as well as on cooperation in the field of rational use of water resources.
The parties expressed mutual interest in continuing bilateral consultations on the Afghan issue.
