Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov, who arrived in Tehran to participate in the meeting of the High-Level Committee of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sayed Rasool Mohajer.

During the meeting, the state and prospects of bilateral relations in various areas were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the interaction of the two countries in the trade and economic sphere, including the intensification of ties between the regions of the two countries.

The issues of implementing interregional transport and logistics projects aimed at increasing the volume of mutual trade turnover and intensifying trade and economic ties were considered.
